Iconic Natural Veneer is real wood — sliced from the log at a fraction of a millimetre, then bonded to a dimensionally stable base so it behaves predictably on site. What that gives you is the depth, figure and warmth of solid timber on surfaces where solid timber would warp, crack or cost four times as much.
The work happens before the sheet reaches you. Logs are selected for figure and colour consistency. Slicing method determines the pattern — crown, quarter or rotary. Leaves are then sequence-matched and stacked so that consecutive sheets from the same bundle can be book-matched or slip-matched across a large run without a visible break in grain.
Because it’s natural material, every sheet carries its own variation. That’s the point. What we control is consistency of thickness, adhesion and colour family within a bundle — so your carpenter isn’t fighting the material and your client isn’t looking at a mismatched wall.
